What a wild ride this wedding was! It had an awesome circus theme--the Night Circus book, if you haven't read it yet, you need to--and so many exquisite details I just didn't know what to do with myself! This album may end up being huge with photos.

The wedding decor and style were a mixture of Victorian carnival-inspired prints & objects, vivid wildflowers, jewel tones everywhere and lots of fun items handmade by the bride and groom. He made a ton of carnival games out of wood and plexigless, from giant beer pong to a plinko machine and giant dominoes. They even had a fully-restored trolley for transportation! The weather was so perfect, too, for a carnival themed wedding because it was the perfect mixture of a sunny fall day and a cool night. Just perfect.

The priest quoted Star Wars and the Princess Bride, there were around 30 people in the bridal party (only 8 of whom were adults) and at the cocktail hour, there were fire breathers, jugglers, balloon animals, people on stilts, carnival games.....and did I mention there were probably 3000+ homemade cookies at the reception? (I counted over 35 different varieties of cookies and there were 5-10 dozen of each). My favorite were the gingerbread wookie-cookies. Tee hee.

I have no idea who even had room to eat the huge five-foot tall cake they had lol. Second shooting is usually pretty tame but this was quite an experience! Thanks for letting me come along, Jules! :)
